Corey's Background

Career - I've been fortunate to work at a lot of great companies and have created multiple side projects that have been successful. You can see a list of companies and projects I've worked at on my LinkedIn Profile. I currently work at Apple as a Software Engineering Manager focused on internal tools.

Financial - Through experience, training and opportunities, I've learned a lot about personal finance, investing, and tax strategies. My experience includes working at companies that were acquired, real estate investing, investing on the stock market, and understanding the impact all of this has on taxes. I enjoy helping people navigate these waters so they can realize their potential and pursue the passions of their life. This is encompassed in the book I wrote: Financial Foundation: Core and Advanced Concept for Financial Success.

Music - I started drumming when I was in 2nd grade. I took lessons on and off and would to pop on headphones and drum along to my favorite songs at the time. I always had an affinity for electronic/dance music. I always messed around with the idea of recording my own music, but it took a backseat until 2019. I then started experimenting with music software and fell in love with the process. I created music and while doing it I'd show my kids how to play with beats and sounds. This is what inspired me to start Ankyl.
